Description
A rich, creamy frozen delight that combines chocolate with the comfort of a popsicle.
Ingredients
Scale:
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups almond milk (or any dairy-free milk of your choice)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for a thicker texture)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and salt until well combined, ensuring there are no lumps.
- In a separate bowl, combine the almond milk, vanilla extract, and cornstarch (if using). Whisk until the cornstarch is dissolved completely.
- Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring continuously until smooth and lump-free.
- Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and heat over medium-low heat. Stir constantly for about 5-7 minutes, until the mixture starts to thicken slightly.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool for about 10 minutes.
- Pour the cooled mixture into popsicle molds, leaving some space at the top.
- Insert sticks into the molds and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely frozen.
- To remove the fudge pops from the molds, run them under warm water for a few seconds until they release easily.
