Mars Bar Squares

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed digestive biscuits with the melted butter. Stir until the biscuits are well-coated.
  2. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the biscuit mixture into the pan and press down firmly to create an even layer. Chill in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan over low heat, combine the chopped Mars bars and double cream. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. Pour the Mars bar mixture over the chilled biscuit base. Spread it evenly and smooth the top. Return to the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped milk chocolate and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals until fully melted and smooth.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture over the chilled Mars bar filling. Spread it evenly and chill again in the refrigerator for another hour or until set.
  7. Once set, remove the squares from the pan and cut into squares or bars. Enjoy your delicious Mars Bar Squares with a cup of tea or coffee.
