Ingredients
Scale:
4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon lemon herb seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
Juice and zest of 1 large lemon
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure an even bake for the salmon.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Drizzle the olive oil generously over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated. Sprinkle garlic powder, lemon herb seasoning, and salt and pepper evenly over the top.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque in the center.
While the salmon is baking, melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and zest. Allow the sauce to simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add salt, pepper, and chopped parsley to the sauce, adjusting the seasoning to taste.
Once the salmon is done, carefully plate the fillets. Generously pour the zesty lemon butter cream sauce over the top.
