Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a springform pan by lining the bottom and sides with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar together with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and vanilla extract, and mix on low speed until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared springform pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is deeply golden brown.
  8. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for another hour to cool gradually.
  9. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  10. Before serving, remove the cheesecake from the springform pan and peel off the parchment paper. Slice and enjoy.
