Ingredients
Scale:
2 cups elbow macaroni
1 can (15 oz) of chili (with or without beans)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. This typically takes about 7-9 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and the can of chili. Stir well until the pasta is evenly coated.
In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, layer half of the macaroni and chili mixture. Sprinkle one cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Pour the remaining macaroni and chili mixture over the cheese layer, then top with the remaining cup of cheddar cheese.
Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Once baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
