2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced

1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

1 cup powdered sugar (for optional peach glaze)

Instructions
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the diced peaches, brown sugar, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peaches are soft and the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
